Sally was a lady bug for her first Halloween. Thanks Aunt Kim, we loved it!! Poor Sally, we had to miss the OU tailgate because she is still recovering from an ear infection. We had a great day though; Nana was here, we had a successful garage sale and we dressed Sally up and visited some neighbors before sending our little bug off to bed!

Precious Punkin
We have been anticipating Halloween for weeks now!! This is from last Saturday when we started our Halloween week.
Our fabulous tree! The leaves are already gone!
Hmmm...can I eat these flowers? Thankfully she decided not to eat a flower, but she did manage to eat a leaf.
Our precious punkin!
"You talkin' to me?"

Ted had gotten Sally up and dressed for the day and they were starting to have breakfast when I got up... Daddy took such good care of our girl when I was sick last weekend! (Not that he doesn't always take good care of our girl!)

Crazy Girl!
We have got one wild woman on our hands. Sally is getting more fun by the day. Just this evening she and I were playing and I just kept laughing- she is so much fun! She loves to roll around, giggle, grab toys, and rock back and forth on her hands and knees...Here are a few pictures of our girl in action.
Ellyn read books to her while we were in Denton recently. Sally thinks her cousin Ellyn is the coolest thing around!
She got a new toy for her 6 month birthday. She was mostly impressed with the box.
But she also loves the singing cookie jar! (However, there are times where the song gets so stuck in my head that I think I might lose my mind!! :))
She had a fabulous time at Grampa and Grandmums while we watched the OU/ Baylor game.

Yum!! Thanks for feeding me a yummy dinner, Grandmums!!

She LOVES her new jumper. She goes nuts in it!
Rockin' the ponytail!
We had a little OU/TX party (we were sad to miss the festivities in Dallas, but thought we should stay home...it was such a different year!). Jill and Katie got to come watch some of the game with us. It was so fun to see them...Sally loves watching the games with her friends!!

Dannon came to watch the game with us...Aspen and Copper love their buddy!
We've had some wild hair days lately!
Playing with Daddy before bath time.
Rocking...here we go...our days of keeping her in one spot are numbered. Crawling is just around the corner. UH OH!!!

Official 6 Month Pictures
We went to the doctor yesterday...Sally's official 6 month stats:
Weight: 16 lbs 9 oz (75%)
Length: 27 in (90%)...again, where does she get her height??? We don't think it will last long...
Today we had her 6 month pictures taken. I know what you're thinking...yesterday a doctor's appointment with shots and today pictures? You're right, not my smartest mommy moment. Her pictures show that she wasn't feeling her best, but we did get a few good shots.

Two Cute Pumpkins
What a fun weekend! On Saturday we went to the Country Bazaar and the pumpkin patch with the Briggs. Michael is another one of Sally's boyfriends. It was a beautiful, cool day and we enjoyed being out. In fact, we all looked back and realized that the parents were having so much fun that we might have pushed the kiddos a little far--they were pretty worn out by the end of the day. They were both troopers though. Fall is here and we sure are excited!
Family time at the pumpkin patch.
"Hey, Michael, I'll trade you pumpkins!"
Sally and Michael talking together at the bazaar.

We had a picnic at the bazaar before we headed out to do some shopping. It was beautiful out there!

Happy Half Birthday Sally Claire!
Our sweet girl is six months old today. The past six months have been a complete blessing. I could have never imagined the joy that this little angel has brought to our lives.
We went to the doctor yesterday (her first temperature...but only a virus...and she seems to be all better today!). She weighs 16+ pounds. We go for her six month check-up in a couple of weeks. She dodged those shots for a few more days!
Sally loves:
- sitting up (but still topples pretty easily)
- rolling over
- getting on her hands and knees
- putting everything in her mouth
- blowing raspberries
- eating squash, carrots, sweet potatoes and bananas (she does NOT like green beans...)
- going to bed very peacefully at night (not so much at nap time-- we're still working on that)
- playing in her exersaucer and making it make noise
- sitting in her high chair and playing with measuring spoons
- playing piano with Daddy
- watching and giggling at the dogs

This is a new smile...and the closest I could get to a real shot with lambie.
This is how I feel about all these pictures, Mommy!
