Keeping Busy
As usual, Sally has been a busy bee this week! Here are a few pictures of our fun!
The weather has been incredible lately! Yesterday Sally got to wear her fleece vest for the first time. It was perfect on our morning walk!
Apparently she is a little flirt...she was trying to hold her new buddy's hand!
We have a weekly play date with our neighbors. Sally and I both love it!
So, this is how I found her after her morning nap one day this week. She looks comfy, huh?!?!
"Hey Mom, is it time to get up now?"

Lil Sooners
We got all the Sooner babies (and some big kids) together at the tailgate on Saturday. These are 6 of the 8 children of Ted's fraternity brothers. What a fun group! It was a great day. Sally loved seeing all of her friends~ Of course, Ted and I did too. We can't wait until next time.
Brody Varner (Birthday Boy!), Cooper Cunningham (Birthday Boy!), Lauren Margaret Lee, Meg Varner, Avery Underwood, and Sally.
Their numbers are their birth order. We were missing #2 and # 7 ...but we'll get them all next time!
I LOVE this picture...Sally was sitting up for the first time in the earlier picture-- but she just couldn't hang in there!
Lauren Margaret, Avery and Sally playing at the Beta house. We told them that they could only visit the parlor and NEVER see the inside of the boys' rooms!
Allison, Avery, Allison and Lauren Margaret on our walk across campus.
Family picture. Sally was more interested in her hands...
Cooper turned 1 on Saturday! Happy Birthday sweet boy!!
Brody turned 4 on Saturday. What a precious birthday boy! Notice that he is Tailgating Sooner # 1!!! All these kiddos have a great role model in Brody.
Ted, Sally and Bryson...apparently Sally was trying to steal Bryson's OU apron!
A Daddy and his girl...so sweet!
The boys!

Where's Sally?
UNDER her crib...Sally has learned to barrel roll to get where she wants to go. She can get almost anywhere, and she is fast! Nana (my mom) was watching her today and she looked down for a second and then looked back up to see Sally under her crib hanging out!
What a fun place!
"Hey, Mom, did you need me?"
"Its like my very own hideout."
"Would you like to come in and play?"
"Can you see me?"

Tailgating Sooners
We kicked off the Sooners football season with our first tailgate. It was a bit damp (i.e. poured down rain the entire time), but we had a great time! We're excited to be close to Norman so we can tailgate and see close friends.

Sally and Meg got to play together while everyone was at the game. Ilena was nice enough to let us come play at their house. Thanks, Ilena! I loved getting to chat and catch up!
Nick and Amy enjoying the pre-game festivities.
Meg and Bryson getting excited for the game!
Matt, Katie, and Mike-- the rain didn't slow them down!

Busy, Busy!
Sally has been very busy lately! Here's a quick recap of the last few days...
Loving on Sophie...she loves her giraffe friend!
We did a quick photo shoot...Copper helped by getting her to smile!
Happy girl getting ready to meet Daddy for lunch at Panera.
Copper is her newest best friend. I promise Copper did not hate this as much as it appears. She didn't like the flash on the camera, so each picture made Copper look miserable even though she likes playing with Sally.
Sally's first Tulsa playdate! We met some neighbors! Her new friend is only 20 days younger than her. They love to go on walks and then play together while their mommies eat lunch.
YAY! Daddy is home!! She gets so excited each evening when Ted gets home from work.
Just cute, kissable toes!

Labor Day 2009
We had a wonderful relaxing Labor Day. We went and walked La Fortune park near our house. Then we had a little picnic at the park...followed by lunch at Chili's. Yes, a picnic followed by lunch. We walked a long way-- we needed to make up for it!! The weather was beautiful (but a little hot-- I was getting used to 70 degree days!), and we enjoyed a laid back day.
The golf course that the trail follows is beautiful!
Sally enjoyed our walk.
Grass! This was her first time to play in the grass. She was pretty intrigued!
"I don't know, Dad. What do you think?"
"Mommy, he's a riot!"

The Perfect Weekend
Andress and Patrick came to visit us this weekend...all I can say is that it was PERFECT. My only complaint is that it ended too soon....
Drinks on the patio.
Sweet Andress and Sally. Sally LOVES both of her godparents.
We watched the OU game...A & P did their part to add a little Aggie to this little Sooner in training...home team's colors won out...but not for long! She needs to learn what an Aggie ring feels like!
Future cheerleader?
S'mores! YUM!
Breakfast at Brookside By Day...so tasty!
Riding in style!
Sally is on cloud 9 when A & P are here!
I truly cannot express how thankful I am for A & P. They are the most wonderful friends. They are so great with Sally and she so clearly loves them!
The Girls!
