I had my first baby shower today. My sister-in-law, Lucy, and my two sweet friends, Karen and Taylor, threw a wonderful shower. Everything was perfect: the pink and brown theme, the beautiful flowers, the tasty food, and all of the wonderful company! The girls thought of everything. The centerpiece was baby bottles holding pink tulips, and our napkins were cloth diapers. I was sent home with 24 cloth diapers to start our burp cloth collection. I was told that I could never have too many burp cloths around! Many important people were able to be with us today. So many close friends of my mom's joined us. Even Kim, Rhonda, Mason, and Hudson came up from College Station. Hudson is only 6 weeks old. Thank you so much for making the trek! Sally and I received many nice gifts. Our sweet friends showered us with so many necessities and fun, girly items. Sally is prepared to be the best dressed little girl around! I can't wait for her to get here so we can play dress up with all of the fun clothes she got today. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon girls!
Hudson was just tuckered out after all the excitement! I was so glad to finally meet him!
